Mystery Quilt

Quite a few of you signed up for the Mystery Quilt! And there is anticipation as we go forward--I think most of us are looking forward to the process.
If you miss a meeting, please contact me at [email protected] to get the latest
instructions. With the exception of possibly June’s meeting, we will be handing outinstructions each month,
and some months there will be a short demo on fast techniques.
In some cases, there will be numerous ways to assemble your blocks.
If you signed up for the Mystery Quilt and decide NOT to continue, would you also
contact me at the email listed above?
The designer has given permission for 10 of us touse her pattern. We will have to square things up with her when we’re sure how many are
actually following her pattern.

Stitch Together Women's Suffrage

In honor of women's history month in February, the Susan B. Anthony House is gathering quilt blocks done in sunflower yellow, purple and white which were important colors in the women's suffrgae movement.  There are a few other design instructions, but there is also a lot of freedom within their guidelines to design a block that highlights what the women's movement means to you.
(Kits are also available)

The Anthony House anticipates that the quilt will be displayed around the country much as the AIDS quilt has been - in sections or in its entirety, depending on the number of quilt blocks received.

Hello and Welcome to CTQC

Common Thread Quilt Club of Parker, CO was created in August of 2004 as a social quilting group for local quilters.  The group provides education and networking opportunities to its members and is dedicated to providing quilts for philanthropic causes on a
consistent basis.

Our regular meetings are held on the second Monday
of each month.
All are welcome to attend, no RSVP is required. Be sure to check our calendar for a list of all of our upcoming events and details.

Common Thread Quilt Club is a wonderful group of talented people, and we hope youwill join us!  Our group is fairly unstructured and small,
and we like to refer toourselves as a club rather than a guild in order to promote a small town feel. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of our members.
